Some good practice to perform first aid during Covid-19 pandemic that reducing cross contamination risk is introduced.

Introduction

This training covers practical skills needed by a first aider in the modern workplace and provide the first aider adequate confidence and knowledge in dealing with some common workplace emergencies.

It address the requirements of Safety and Health Welfare Regulations. Some good practice to perform first aid during Covid19 pandemic that reducing cross contamination risk is introduced.

Learning Objective

By the end of the training, participant can demnstrate basic first aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (C.P.R) skills.

    Duration

    • 2 days certification program (9.00am to 5.00pm)
    • 1 day basic awareness program (9.00am to 5.00pm)
    • or duration proposed at quotation.

    Methodology

    Training session includes classroom lecture, exercises, group work and discussion.

    Target Participants

    First aid team members and Emergency Response Team members.

    3. L3 The Circulatory system
    4. L4 Disorder of circulatory system
    5. L5 The Nervous system & unconsciousness
    6. L6 Respiratory system
    7. L7 Respiratory disorder
    8. L8 Basic life support
    9. L9 Injuries to bones & soft tissues
    10. L10 Dressings & bandaging
    11. L11 Medical emergencies
    12. L12 Miscellaneous

     

    Skills:

    1. S1 Basic bandaging
    2. S2 Fracture bandaging
    3. S3 Choking
    4. S4 Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
    5. External Chest Compression (ECC)
    6. External Artificial Respiration (EAR) – Mouth To Mouth Ventilation
    7. Use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
    8. S5 Recovery position
    9. S6 Lifting & handling
    10. S7 Mock drill

    Training Certificate

    Certificate of Attendance will be issued to participants who fully participated the training and satisfied the attendance requirements.
