Why Us?
Introduction
5S is the rock foundation of any continuous improvement journey. It helps bring stability by making the workplace more conducive, organized, systematic, safe and disciplined. Without 5S, each improvement effort will prove futile. But while many have tried to implement and institutionalize 5S, few have succeeded. Many have failed to move beyond the first clean-up activities. Like a big bang, it started off with a loud noise but slowly, quietly and surely it died off. Why?
Our 5S training program is designed to take this issue into consideration. The program is divided into three separate 5S phase: using 5S to tidy up, making 5S a habit and preventing 5S from deteriorating.
At each phase you will learn what it takes to fulfill the needs and how to achieve them with complete illustrations and sample checklists to ensure ease of implementation. For in-house training immediate life workshop will be carried out after each phase to help participants practice doing actual 5S activities on selected area.
Learning Objective
By the end of the training, participants would be able to:
- Able to implement 5S in the workplace
- Able to make 5S a habit in the workplace
- Able to use 5S as a change event
Duration
2 days (9.00am to 5.00pm) or duration proposed at quotation.
Methodology
Training session includes classroom lecture, exercises, group work and discussion.

Step 3: Taking 5S to a higher level (Preventive 5S)
Core principle of Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain is explained and analyzed with many hands on experience sharing.

Training Certificate
Certificate of Attendance will be issued to participants who fully participated the training and satisfied the attendance requirements.
